This coffee represents the very highest quality coffee from India. The beans are very large, uniform blush green in color with a clean polished appearance. Roasted to a level just before full city, the coffee exhibits full aroma, medium body, low acidity and a very clean flavor and finish.

Monsoon Malabar AA

This Indian specialty has a very quaint origin and legacy.
The "Monsooning" of coffee first happened quite by accident in the hold of sailing ships - shipload of coffee bound for Europe from India via the Cape of Good Hope acquired a mellow yet unique taste en route, with the coffee beans 'swelling' and paling in colour, due to the moisture in the air. A new kind of coffee was born - Monsooned Coffee.
Even today, India offers the same golden quality Monsooned Coffee. Prepared by the unique natural elements of yester years and the special process of today, the Monsooned Coffee still has the monsooned flavour, mellow taste and golden look.
Our Monsooned Malabar AA is roasted to full city and in the cup has a heavy mouth-feel with complex and sweet earthy aroma and very little acidity. Hint of Indian spices comes through the cup's delicate finish.
